Interesting analogy you came up with. Let me ask you this, though, don't you believe that not everybody responds the same with certain exercises and volume? One person may make great progress using 10-12 reps, and they may not make progress with 3-5 reps, and vice versa. As much as low reps are important for strength, do you believe that sometimes you don't fatigue enough muscle fibers using low reps, as you do with high reps?
